Former President Donald Trump received a message through an aide on Tuesday for golfer Tiger Woods following a serious car accident in California.
Twitter permanently banned Trump from using his own account after the Jan. 6 capital riot.
Woods, 45, has a close relationship with Trump, who owns several golf courses. Trump and PGA Superstars played golf several times during his presidency.
In 2019, Trump honored Woods with a Presidential Medal at a Rose Garden ceremony attended by Woods’ mother, children, girlfriend and caddy, Joe Lakawa.
“Tiger Woods is a global symbol of American excellence, devotion and drive,” Trump said at the time. “Tiger, we have been inspired by everything and you have gained.”
