Vanessa Bryant, widow of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, was quite nervous while listening to a new song by rapper Meek Mill.
A recently released track titled “Don’t Worry”, Vanessa felt she had “insensitive and abusive” lyrics about her late husband. In that song, Mack Mill referenced the January 2020 helicopter crash that claimed the lives of nine people, including Kobe, 41, and the couple’s 13-year-old daughter, Jiana.

On “Don’t Worry”, according to several reports, Meek Mill raps with the following songs:

In a statement posted on her Instagram Story on Monday night, Vanessa objected to Meek Mill’s use of Kobe’s name.
“Dear [Meek Mill], I find this line extremely insensitive and insulting. Period, ”Vanessa said. “I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, well, a better way for my husband to show his appreciation. It lacks respect and tact. “
