Jason Terry was an NBA player for nearly two decades. He won a championship in 2011 with the Mavericks. He scored a total of 18,881 points Ranked 66th on the league’s all-time scoring list.
And yet, when Terry goes to youth basketball camps to share his knowledge of the game, the children ask only one question: how did it feel to receive the poster by LeBron James?

A quick refresher: On March 18, 2013, the Heat and Celtics, bitter rivals of the time, faced a nationally televised competition at TD Garden. In the middle of the second quarter, Terry rolled the ball to Halfcourt, creating a 3-on-1 chance by Miami. Terry retreated and attempted to block an easy bucket, but then came down James Lane. . . Boom.
Unfortunately for Terry, that highlight followed him for the rest of his career and in retirement. The 2008–09 Sixth Man of the Year award winner discussed Monster Slam in an episode of Bleacher Report’s “Untold Stories” with Master Tesafasian.
Terry said, “I want to say that this is one of the lowest moments of my career, but at the same time, I mean I will be involved in history forever.” “Like, you get drowned by ‘The King’.”
Terry reported that the Tesfetsians were trying for turnovers by getting defensive stops. He followed the ball from Norris Cole from Mario Chalmers, but did not quickly realize that the James train was speeding down the tracks.
“He was already in the air. It was slow, ”Terry said. He said, “I understand the leap I made. There is no one there – like, even if you have jumped, you are not touching it. And I jumped, man, and he lifted me to my knee, and I was still going with him. Like, Lebron just bang, bang. It’s over. “
Of course, the joke was only the beginning. Terry had to take oral talks not only from the online community but also from his own friends and teammates.
“For three weeks, I was checking my phone and people were sending me messages. ‘Man, are you alright? ‘”Terry said. “Like, the number I haven’t heard in eight years, I’m looking at the number. ‘Jet, are you good? You’re dead, big homie? You’re good?’ Like, I don’t know what these people are talking about. He also said on Wikipedia, he said that I had a date of death and the date and everything there was. He’s crazy, man …
“[My teammates were] Killed me in the locker room. Destroying me. Jokes and jokes and jokes. I’m telling you, it was kept for a while. “
