An Australian childcare worker says she quit her job in a nursery after learning she can make over $30,000 a month through her new job as an OnlyFans model.
According to The Daily Mail, former Queensland childcare worker Aimee Higher, 20, says she’s now pulling a $100K salary a year as an OnlyFans model who makes a living snapping nude photos in her bedroom. She had humble beginnings, hustling to build a following while working a 9-to-5 job.
“I started my OnlyFans account on the side of my job and made $1100 in the first month and then $2500 most months after that for a year,” she said.
“I would go home on my lunch break to create new content and message my wonderful subscribers back.”
After a year of juggling both and consistently making more from OnlyFans she quit her job with kids to go full time as an erotic content creator in January this year, and now earns $100,000 a year.
“I knew there was more to life and wanted to be my own boss and have financial freedom,” Higher said, echoing the sentiments of other models on the site.
Higher said she most recently earned over $30,000 in just a month on the platform.
“I’ll chill naked in my room and my subscribers will get to see that – I think the body is art and there should be no shame in sharing it freely,” she said.
“It’s not for everybody. But I have fun with it. It’s like when people say if you enjoy your job, you never feel like you’re working,” she said.

Like childcare worker Higher, fellow OnlyFans model Hannah Bennett, from Doncaster in the UK also quit her day job after earning tens of thousands in a matter of weeks on the site.
“After just three months of OnlyFans, I’d already covered the £17,000 worth of debt I was in. I thought I’d be paying that off for years, and I’m looking to buy my own home now which has always been a dream of mine,” Bennett said, according to the Mirror.
Higher said she now has over 1,300 fans who each pay $14.14 a month to see her content, including nude and lingerie photos as well as more intimate content per request.
“The type of content I post is a reflection of me and an insight into my life just with a lot less clothes than Instagram would allow,” the childcare worker turned OnlyFans model told the Mail.
The new vocation, she says, makes her feel “stronger and more confident” even if she is now “the talk of the town”.
