Adele plots TV concert special for new album ’30’

Adele has no plans to go easy on her fans anytime soon.

The Grammy winner, who released her first new song in six years this week and has an album coming out next month, is plotting a concert special that will air on TV by the end of the year, Page Six can confirm.

“It’s going to be massive,” a source teased. “The show has been in the works for weeks, and the details are being fine-tuned now. It will be broadcast before the holidays.”

The special is set to be an international event, as we’re told it will air in both the US and the UK and possibly beyond.

“Adele is delighted to get back out there and start performing again,” a second insider told us. “She’ll be doing a mix of new and old songs to highlight her sensational catalog of music.”

It will not be Adele’s first time taking over the small screen. In June 2012, she did a special on NBC featuring performances from the Royal Albert Hall in London as well as an interview with now-disgraced “Today” host Matt Lauer.

The “Hello” singer had another NBC special in December 2015 to promote her blockbuster album “25.” More than 11 million people tuned in to the Jimmy Fallon-hosted concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, which went on to receive four Emmy nominations including Outstanding Variety Special.

Most recently, Adele hosted “Saturday Night Live” in October 2020 — and we’re told the folks at Studio 8H are eager to have her back.

“She could end up being a musical guest on ‘SNL,’ not a host, before the end of the year, as she’s like a friend of the family over there,” an NBC source told us.

Adele, 33, released her comeback song, “Easy on Me,” on Thursday night as the lead single from her highly anticipated fourth studio album, “30,” which hits stores on Nov. 19.

She has called the 12-track record “my ride or die throughout the most turbulent period of my life,” referring to her recent divorce from businessman Simon Konecki, with whom she shares 8-year-old son Angelo.

“I’ve painstakingly rebuilt my house and my heart since then and this album narrates it,” Adele said in a statement posted to her social media pages on Wednesday. “Home is where the heart is.”

Reps for Adele did not respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
