Beyoncé, Michelle Williams sees the zoom birth of Kelly Rowland

It was the delivery of a Destiny to remember.

Welcoming her second son in January, “Independent Woman” co-singer Kelly Rowland asked 39-year-old former bandmates Beyoncé and 41-year-old Michelle Williams to digitally depend on her for moral support.

“Our family was involved on the zoom,” said 40-year-old Roland. Told people On January 21, she and her husband Tim Weyerspoon, now 3 months old, gave birth to Noah John.

40-year-old Way and Witherspoon married in May 2014 and shared 6-year-old son Titan Jewel.

“[Beyoncé and Williams] I could see Noah coming into the world. It was beautiful, ”the Grammy-winner said.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, 67, and Weatherspoon’s mother, Jackie, also witnessed Noah’s birth through Zoom. (Roland’s mother, Doris Roland Garrison, died of a heart attack in December 2014 at 66.)

But as soon as it was safe for Beyoncé and Williams – whom Roland called her “sisters” – to meet Noah in the baby, the “Bills, Bills, Bills” Boomers booked it in the baby’s crib.

“The girls were just recently here at home, and when they met the baby, it was like another part of my heart … being able to share the space with Michelle and Bey was really a gift. “Roland” Entertainment Tonight in February.

“I am just grateful to them, and they are a highlight of my life,” said the “Prerna” singer with teary eyes. “Not professionally, but our friendship and our sister — you are gonna make me cry.”

Rowland said the platinum-selling success he felt with Beyoncé and Williams did not compare to their unbreakable bond.

He said, “I always sing with Destiny’s child, sing together and win awards and everything is great.”

“But the friendship we still share today … I can’t even tell you.”

The “Say My Name” singers sold over 60 million records worldwide before taking an indefinite sabbatical as a group act in 2005.

Each went on to have a successful solo music career – most notably Beyoncé, who won the title as the most Grammy Award-winning woman in history last month.
