The Force was with Billie Lourd during her wedding weekend.

The “Scream Queens” star married producer Austen Rydell in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Saturday, honoring late mother Carrie Fisher throughout the weekend’s events.

Starting with an Oscar de la Renta gown she got off the rack and had altered for her rehearsal dinner — “I didn’t realize people started planning for this whole wedding thing over a year in advance,” Lourd told Vogue of her last-minute shopping spree — the actress recalled Fisher’s Princess Leia with an intricate braided hairstyle laced with fresh flowers.

For the main event, she sported two custom looks by Rodarte, including her princess-worthy wedding gown.

“I discovered Kate and Laura [Mulleavy, Rodarte’s designers] after they interviewed my mom for an article in 2014 and immediately fell in love. So when I started thinking about who I wanted to design my wedding dress, they were the first people who came to mind,” Billie said.

“I have always been a massive fan of their work and thought their elegant, ethereal, unique style was a perfect fit for my — kind of — elegant, ethereal, unique personality,” she added. “I also felt a strong connection to them because of their connection to my mom and because they are California gals just like me!”

For the ceremony, she wore a custom off-the-shoulder tulle confection with her hair again in a detailed half-up braided style.

“We got married on the beach at sunset, so I really wanted something that reflected the vibe of the ocean-y setting,” she told Vogue. “We decided to make the underlayer of the dress out of sequins. The underlayer of my personality is also made of sequins, so it just felt right.”

Lourd, 29, paid tribute to both of her parents with little details, including her engagement ring — made from the diamond from the ring that dad Bryan Lourd proposed to her mom with — as well as a pair of vintage Neil Lane diamond studs that her dad gave her, her mom’s favorite blue fire opal ring as her something blue and another ring that Fisher had given to one of her closest friends as something borrowed.

Even Lourd’s René Mancini shoes were chosen with her father as they reminded him of something the “Star Wars” actress would wear in the ’90s. Plus, it turned out, unbeknownst to both Lourds, Fisher used to shop at the same store at that time.

Fisher’s two best friends Gavin DeBecker and Bruce Wagner officiated the ceremony and Lourd’s reception dress — a white fringe number, also custom made by Rodarte — paid homage to her late grandmother.

“It was inspired by my glam-ma Debbie Reynolds’ iconic dance outfits that she used to wear in all of her shows and is probably the most fun party outfit of all time,” Billie said, adding that she would turn it into an art piece “because it’s way too legendary to just hang on a hanger in a closet.”

Lourd met Rydell in January 2011 at New York University and he proposed in June 2020. The couple secretly welcomed their son, Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, in September of the same year.

Lourd’s pal and “American Horror Story” co-star Leslie Grossman posted multiple pictures from the star-studded affair, declaring, “Billie and Austen got married and it was perfect.”

“And in true Carrie fashion, we threw glitter in the air at the end of the ceremony. It was magical,” Lourd said. “I could not have dreamed up a more perfect wedding.”
