Boris Diaw tells an incredible story about arguing with sensation coach Terry Porter, then refuses shooting

Boris Diaw has set a high bar to be passive-aggressive towards his boss.

During an appearance on Ringer’s “Real Ones” podcasts with King Bell and Logan MurdockThe longtime NBA forward shared a gruesome story of how he responded to criticism from former Sun coach Terry Porter. Back in 2008, Diav reunited with Porter after a game over his shot selection. Diaw argued that there was no reason to pass wide-open 3-pointers, but Porter disagreed with Dive’s assessment.

Which was needed by everyone to listen. In the Sun’s next game against the Timberwells, Diaw simply refused shooting.

“In my mind, it’s like, well, if you’re going to tell me there’s a bad shot, I don’t know what a good shot is and what a bad shot is,” Diya said. “So, I can no longer make decisions because you are taking away from me. Because, for me, I am a big man who is able to know what is a good shot and what is a bad shot.

“So, if you’re going to tell me that, now I don’t know what a good shot is, I don’t know what a bad shot is now, so I’m not going to take a shot.”

Diaw’s Game Log The 2008–09 season showed that he made at least three field goal attempts in every game in which he appeared except for the competition against Minnesota. That night, he scored just two of his points on free throws in about 22 minutes of action. Bell, who also played on that Phoenix team, called the performance an “unprecedented performance”.

“I was wide open to layout as I was, and stuff like that,” Diya said. “So yes, I was a small hole. … I did it once, you know, just to make a point. After that, it was like, well, never mind. You can shoot So yes, it has worked a little bit. “

In December 2008, both Bell and Diav traded with Charlett and Porter fired In February 2009. The really shocking thing is that it didn’t work in Phoenix!
