On Sundays, we wear pink.

It was definitely the color of the night on the Grammys 2022 red carpet, with star after star showing up in shades ranging from bright fuschia to pale pink.

Valentino’s all-pink fall 2022 collection was a favorite, with Saweetie and Billy Porter choosing two options from the Italian brand’s offerings.

“The color of the season I hear is fuchsia and Valentino sent this over for me to wear from the runway,” Porter told E!’s Laverne Cox of his sheer ruffled shirt with a billowing train and matching hot pink trousers.

Saweetie, meanwhile, was one of the best-dressed of the night as she showed some skin in her two-piece crop top and skirt combination, accessorized with matching opera-length gloves.

She later mixed things up mid-red carpet by changing into a black custom Oscar de la Renta gown.

St. Vincent struck a chord in a fabulous pink sequined Gucci gown trimmed with voluminous ruffles.

The “Cruel” singer’s glamorous gown, part of Gucci’s “Love Parade” collection, was perfect for a winning night: she took home the Grammy for Best Alternative Album.

Chrissy Teigen rocked two pink looks, first choosing a stunning tiered ballgown by Nicole + Felicia Couture then a gold beaded dress by Georges Hobeika with pink feather sleeves for the ceremony, during which husband John Legend performed a tribute to Ukraine while daughter Luna, 6, and Miles, 3, watched.

Going for a lighter shade of the color, Tinashe rocked a pastel pink latex gown by GCDS with a dramatic bow trim on the back. She also carried the same glass Coperni bag as Doja Cat, in a red hue (and minus the candies).

As for the guys, Travis Barker briefly switched up his usual gothic look for the night, wearing an oversized, knee-length fuschia satin blazer by Raf Simons that slipped off his shoulders as he walked the red carpet.

Meanwhile, host Trevor Noah gave his classic tux a colorful twist by choosing a baby pink dinner jacket by Gucci.

Some stars sported a pop of pink to their outfits, including Justin Bieber, who added a neon knit beanie to his baggy Balenciaga suit on the red carpet.

Olivia Rodrigo went for a hot pink crystal trim on her black Vivienne Westwood gown, adding two sparkling pink chokers to her Y2K-inspired look.

With all of these punchy pink looks, we can’t help but wonder if the color of the moment will make a splash at next month’s Met Gala, too.
