Brad Stevens would love to forget this week.
Not only has his team lost three straight games, but they have dealt with identity theft and the root canal.
“I was just telling my wife, I had a root canal and my identity stolen last week and I think I had two better days in the last eight days. This is what it is, ” The Celtic coach said on 98.5 FM’s “Zolak and Bertrand” show.
“It was real stuff. People were trying to open
Cards and all this stuff. Calling target to open [an] Accounting. Like I would be interested in opening a target account right now during this stretch. “
Stevens had nothing to do with his job either. The Celtics have dropped the game to the Pelicans, Mavericks and Hawks – three teams under 500 – as they fell to 15-17. He trailed the Hawks by more than 20 points in the second quarter.

The team was considered an Eastern Conference contender prior to this season, but they are currently out of the playoffs behind the Nucks, Bulls and Hornets.
