Davante Adams hit the Vegas jackpot.
The Raiders acquired the star receiver in a trade with the Packers on Thursday, according to multiple reports, and immediately gave him a five-year contract worth $141.25 million — making him the highest-paid wideout in the NFL.
The trade — which netted Green Bay two 2022 draft picks, including a first-rounder — reunites Adams with his former Fresno State QB, Derek Carr.
Last summer, Adams indicated he would love to play with his college QB once again.
“Obviously, I love Derek to death. We’ve got a great friendship and we still communicate really, really consistently. He’s one of my best friends. Obviously it would be a dream to be able to play with him.”
