‘Don’t Worry, Darling’ drama explained — by an expert astrologer

We are very worried, darling.

“Don’t Worry, Darling” doesn’t seem like quite the right title for a film with this much drama.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ve certainly caught wind of the consistent negative headlines circling the 2022 American psychological thriller starring Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, Harry Styles and Gemma Chan, under the direction of Olivia Wilde.

With a copious amount of shade being thrown, relationships burning up or fizzling out, as well as tons of inside gossip, one must wonder if all of the buzz will translate into blockbuster fame—or just cause it to buzz out.

With some of the cast falling asleep or zoned out while doing the press tour, as well as others blatantly refusing to promote the film, one must wonder what has gone on behind-the-scenes. But oh wait! We can consult the stars for that. Join me as I dive into their astrology because I’m a pop culture astrologer and I can see it all.

What are the zodiac signs of the main cast of ‘Don’t Worry, Darling’?

Harry Styles was born on February 1, 1994. This makes him an eccentric Aquarius Sun with a charming Libra Moon. For Styles’ full birth chart breakdown, be sure to check out my article on him here. Olivia Wilde was born on March 10, 1984. She is a Pisces Sun with a Gemini Moon. Neither of their birth times are listed anywhere online, so until I cross paths with them (get at me!), we’ll focus on what we can extensively see.

Florence Pugh was born on January 3, 1996. This makes her a hardworking Capricorn Sun with a Gemini Moon. Chris Pine was born on August 26, 1980. This makes him a Virgo Sun with a Pisces Moon. Gemma Chan was born on November 29, 1982. This makes her a Sagittarius Sun with a Taurus Moon.

What is astrologically causing all of the ‘Don’t Worry, Darling’ drama?

Before I dive in, let’s just put this out there. The cosmic weather beginning in the summer of 2022 and lasting until the spring of 2023 is an absolute celestial sh-tshow. First off, this drama on “Don’t Worry, Darling” is being triggered by several factors at this point in time. Jupiter in Aries is firing up everyone’s intensity and amplifying any innate egoism. This began in May 2022 and lingers until the end of October 2022. Passions—for good or worse—are being exponentially ignited, exacerbated and on the top of everyone’s minds. When it comes to A-list stars, this innate dynamic further expands their egos, putting themselves and their opinions first at the dispense of others.

Next, Mars, the planet of sex and war, is orbiting in Gemini, the zodiac sign of media, communication and social media, from August 2022 until March 2023. We are also entering a karmic period where Mars is approaching a retrograde, where he will have all of his power held against him. Any frustration or drama that is triggered now will likely have a brutal fall out between October and January 2023. Expect plenty of tantrums, drama and burnt bridges. Since we’re already seeing this, it portends even more fury either in the public’s eye—or vindictively behind the scenes. More barbed words? Guaranteed.

If that wasn’t tough enough, we have a sharp clash between Saturn, the planet of tradition and restriction, with Uranus, the planet of freedom and rebellion. This cosmic war began in 2021 when the drama started to trickle in for “Don’t Worry, Darling.” We have more of it ahead, signaling the next “chapter” in the saga. The clash between Saturn and Uranus is especially pronounced in the autumn of 2022—especially October—and will be further activated by the horrible eclipses taking place in October and November of this year. Expect meltdowns and failures for some, with big wins and breakthroughs for others—and this goes for producers and the cast, alike.

This also shows that the friction beneath all of this—between the cast, producers and beyond—isn’t a new thing. This entire film and production was plagued by it, and now it will have its last final bow before meeting the public and either being lifted up as a celebrated piece or something just swept under the rug. Tension can create brilliance and forge steel—or just create failure and animosity. If you think the drama in the media and the world is fizzling down for winter, you’re wrong. It will only continue to get more intense!

Are Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh astrologically compatible?

Last, let’s bring up the two main players throwing the shade in regards to this film. I’d like to highlight that Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde have…a unique astrological compatibility. If you want to see where Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde stand, be sure to check my previous article on their relationship compatibility.

Now, on one hand, we’d initially think that just from the basics that Pugh and Wilde would have a marvelous connection. After all, they both share a Gemini Moon, showing that there’s innate understanding when it comes to intellectualizing their emotions. Their Moons are also exactly in the same place in the sky—which often creates a nearly telepathic or insightful understanding of each other—for better or worse. Pugh’s Earth sign Sun also blends well with Wilde’s Water sign Sun. To be honest, when things are—or were good—there’s so much that obviously drew them together and allowed them to find a common ground.

But there is also so much disconnect that brews beneath their charts, too, riddled with complete and total rejection of the other, their ideas, their lifestyle, even one another’s art. The more that they got to know each other, the less they see the commonalities and ended up seeing the sharp contrasts between them. There’s also highly violent, destructive aspects woven into their chart that appear as animosity and a dynamic that can feed obsessive hate.

I’m the first that will admit that just because two people have a challenging chart together does not make either of them toxic or bad people. They just found that one another were catalysts for change around how they’ll approach career matters, friendships, alliances and relationships going forward. And no, I do not think they will ever truly reconcile. But hey, if they put in the work and heal, perhaps they’ll at least agree to disagree and move on. You heard it here first.
