Guzman, the beauty queen wife of Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo”, turned herself into federal authorities when she was arrested on Monday, a report said Thursday.

The escape plot worked, but Guzman was dropped in 2016.
He was eventually detained in the US, and convicted in Brooklyn federal court in drug trafficking cases in 2019. He is currently serving a life sentence in Colorado.
