NHL star Evander Kane’s ongoing divorce with ex-wife Anna is getting uglier.

The San Jose Sharks player — in court documents obtained by TMZ — has accused his estranged wife of faking a pregnancy with their second child since July. The baby was reportedly due in February 2022.

In the legal documents, Kane is requesting a judge to order Anna to take a mental exam to prove she’s fit to care for their 1-year-old daughter, Kensington — of whom Kane also requested full custody.

Kane, who is currently suspended by the NHL for COVID-19 violations, claims Anna wore “some sort of pregnancy belly” to trick him and cause him mental anguish.

He alleges recent medical bills show that Anna underwent an abortion in July.

In separate court documents, TMZ reports that Anna confirmed she did have an abortion in July, and said, “I was less than forthcoming with [Evander] with regards to my decision.”

Anna, according to her court documents, maintains she is mentally stable and is fully capable of caring for the couple’s daughter. She has reportedly asked the court to deny her ex’s requests.

TMZ says Kane was granted temporary custody of Kensington, and that a hearing is set for December.

In July, Anna took to Instagram to share multiple allegations against Kane, including infidelity. She alleged that Kane abandoned her and their daughter and fled to Europe on a vacation while their home was being seized by the bank. Kane filed for bankruptcy in California in January. Anna also claimed that Kane, who has admitted to having a gambling problem, had been betting on Sharks and other NHL games.

At the time of Anna’s allegations, the NHL opened an investigation, and later said it couldn’t substantiate any of those allegations. Kane denied the allegations, calling the claims “lies” in two statements on Twitter.

However, Kane was later suspended 21 games for using a fake vaccine card to get around the NHL’s regulations for unvaccinated players. The first game in which he will be eligible to play is the Sharks’ Nov. 30 matchup with the Devils in Newark.

Kane was recently spotted with ex-girlfriend Mara Teigen, whom he has been rumored to be seeing again.

In 2018, the Sharks signed Kane to a seven-year, $49 million contract.
