Florence Pugh is rocking a brand-new septum piercing, but the process wasn’t without a few snags.
“When you wanna be a cool grown up and get a cool new piercing and you instantly fail, go green and then faint,” the “Midsommar” star, 25, captioned a set of Instagram photos mid- and post-piercing on Instagram Saturday.
She added that friend Zoe Lister-Jones helped soothe her nerves (and stomach) with some sugar.
“Praise the piercing heavens for my trusty @zoelisterjones to have a handy lollipop to make me feel better. FAAAAAANKS,” she said.
Despite the traumatic experience, Pugh’s celebrity friends seemed to be fans of the final result.
“Next time I see you I’ll show you MY septum ring!” commented Busy Philipps. “Ur making me miss mine!!” added Bella Thorne, while Mindy Kaling said she was “getting 1994 Emma Thompson vibes.”
Pugh showed off her new jewelry at the Sunday premiere of “Don’t Look Up,” wearing a black bra and hot pants underneath a floor-length, tiger-print Valentino coat.
Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill and tons more stars appear in the Adam McKay movie, which hits theaters Dec. 10 before debuting on Netflix on Dec. 24.
