During batting practice, hugging coach Chili Davis was a familiar spot behind the cage. Davis worked away from Arizona last season due to COVID-19 concerns.
back again
Former Mets owner Fred Wilpon visited the camp over the weekend with his successor Steve Cohen. Wilpone, still a minority stakeholder in the team, is expected to undertake additional tours to encamp this waterfall.
caught my eye
The Mets practiced bunt plays, with fielders moving around. With Louis Rojas preparing for bunts, it is possible that pitchers will return to bat in the National League this season.

Port St. Lucie, Fla. A full-squad workout continues in which live baiting exercises have been added.
