‘G.I. Jane’ hairstylist doesn’t get why Jada Pinkett Smith rolled her eyes

The hairstylist for “G.I. Jane” doesn’t understand why Jada Pinkett Smith responded to Chris Rock’s bald joke with a “sour” face at the Oscars.

Enzo Angileri — who styled Demi Moore’s buzzcut in the 1997 flick, in which she played a soldier entering the armed services — says he didn’t know Pinkett Smith suffers from alopecia, but that her eye roll still didn’t make sense to him.

“I thought she looked amazing, so regal,” the Italian-born hair maven tells Page Six in an exclusive interview. “I thought it was a beauty choice … I have never seen her look more beautiful.”

Angilieri tells us he thought Rock’s quip, “Jada, I love you, ‘G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it,” — which led her husband Will Smith to storm the stage and slap the comedian — was “cute” and “benevolent.”

“It’s nothing to cause such a rolling of the eyes in my opinion, that stimulated her husband to act that way,” he adds.

Upon hearing the joke, Pinkett Smith made a disparaging face while her husband, Will Smith initially laughed, but clearly changed his mind after seeing his wife’s irked reaction.

The “King Richard” star strode on stage, slapped a clearly shocked Rock, sat down and twice bellowed, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth.”

Angilieri called Smith’s response “completely unacceptable.”

“Don’t we try to teach our kids not to raise their hands?” he asked.

The hair whiz has a lengthy and impressive resume having worked with Jennifer Lopez, Lucy Liu, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes as well as runway shows for Armani and Versace.

He has a close working relationship with Charlize Theron. The two have worked together on movies like “The Huntsman” and the actress’ Dior campaign. And, Angilieri says it was he who encouraged the “Atomic Blonde” star to shave her head for the 2015 film “Mad Max: Fury Road.”

“I helped Charlize to make that choice,” he revealed.

Angilieri says he’s even worked with Will Smith and calls him “the nicest guy,” but also thinks it’s a little ridiculous for everyone to be talking about the Oscars slap.

“It’s silly talking about this considering the news right now,” he notes.
