Drew Robinson had a hit on Tuesday night against the Las Vegas Aviators just before the Sacramento River Cats’ game. His average hung at the .077 mark.
But when he came to bat in the third innings, he got his second hit of the year. And boy, was it a big one.

After signing for the first time to play with the River Cats in 2019, the Giants signed him to another minor-league deal. While he struggled early, Robinson finally set his own moment of success.
The former fourth-round pick may be more likely to come in the 2010 MLB Draft. Even if not there, his homer on Tuesday night was an incredible feat – one that should be celebrated.
