A new promo for Hawkeye gives fans the best look at the Daredevil character, Echo.

The upcoming Marvel Studios series Hawkeye is set to hit Disney Plus just in time for the holiday season. Along with the return of Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton, new characters like Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop will make their debut. One of those new characters includes Echo AKA Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), a character who debuted in the Daredevil comics.

Echo was first introduced in Daredevil #9 in 1999. Created by David Mack and Joe Quesada, she is a deaf Native American and the adoptive daughter of Kingpin (who is rumored to appear in Hawkeye). Now, a new promo for the upcoming Disney Plus series gives us the best look at Alaqua Cox’s character yet.

Although Netflix’s Daredevil series was cancelled after three seasons, many Marvel fans are speculating that certain aspects of the series will be reintroduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the involvement of Echo in Hawkeye

, it’s been rumored that Vincent D’Onofrio would return as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. Charlie Cox is also rumored to return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.

Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to Reporter Door for the latest news regarding the future of the MCU, including Echo, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
