Helen Hunt is reportedly suing a Los Angeles limo company and claiming its negligence resulted in a crash that landed her in the hospital nearly two years ago.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the 58-year-old actress is claiming BLS Limousine Service of L.A., Inc. is responsible for the injuries she sustained following the wreck that occurred October 16, 2019.

The suit reportedly claims that the Oscar winner suffered wage losses, loss of earning capacity, emotional distress and pain, among other damages.

Page Six has reached out to a rep for Hunt for comment.

Hunt’s most recent acting credit is the Starz TV series “Blindspotting,” which premiered in June. Prior to that, she appeared in such recent films as 2021’s “How It Ends” and 2020’s “The Night Clerk.”

As previously reported, the Hollywood veteran was hospitalized after the SUV she was in flipped over when it was t-boned in a Los Angeles intersection.

Hunt was among several people taken to a local hospital after the accident, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to People at the time. The “Pay It Forward” star was examined at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center but discharged later that evening.

In video footage obtained by TMZ, Hunt’s black SUV was seen crossing an intersection before getting slammed by a car driving through its path, at which point the SUV takes a roll.

Hunt — who was shown speaking police after the crash in another video clip — was the only passenger and was seated in the back of the SUV, TMZ said.
