Despite the volatility, bitcoin is the first and fundamental coin. Most cryptocurrency trading is done in pairs with bitcoin. It’s not too late to buy bitcoin, but the question is how to do it on WhiteBIT? If you are interested in bitcoin trading, visit ekronaapp.de to acquire an utter guide to crypto trading.
What is bitcoin? Bitcoin is a virtual asset (VA) that has every chance to become a full-fledged alternative to fiat money in the future. The coin is created in its blockchain network and is credited to miners for solving problems – finding blocks.
Why BTC is popular: cryptocurrency, exchange and investors
Virtual assets are introduced into everyday life. Of course, there are many issues related to regulating cryptocurrencies in general. But still, one country after another realizes the inevitability of the adoption of VA as a valid payment instrument. The first country on this path has already become El Salvador, where bitcoin is accepted as the national currency. Today, Ukraine is also actively involved in introducing cryptocurrency into the legal field (the Law on Virtual Assets was adopted in the second reading. It is currently vetoed and, according to market representatives, may be adopted in the spring of 2022).
In addition, big business is also interested in cryptocurrencies and bitcoin separately. Yes, Lifecell chose WhiteBIT as a partner. Together, the companies are introducing virtual assets into the lives of Ukrainians, stimulating the purchase of bitcoin with additional megabytes of Internet and prizes: MacBooks, iPhones, etc.
Deficit: It is related to two factors
The first is that bitcoins are limited to 21 million coins. 18.8+ million Coins are already in circulation. Although cryptocurrency trading is not of interest to all investors, each new asset issued should become more valuable over time. And in the future, when you need this cryptocurrency, it will be harder and more expensive to buy it.
Second, the interest of large investors will affect the liquidity of the asset. Today, having the necessary budget, you can quickly buy bitcoin. But every year, the number of companies that make large purchases of BTC is growing. It remains less and less, so the deficit will grow along with the value.
Buy on the WhiteBIT exchange
The WhiteBIT cryptocurrency exchange provides several ways to make a purchase.
The first is to replenish the principal balance with fiat funds through the payment system and buy BTC through the “Exchange” tab. Then, it is necessary to consider the bank commission, which depends on the service and currency. For example, WhiteBIT cryptocurrency exchange allows you to get the hryvnia without a fee at all (according to ForkLog, the site has entered into a partnership with monoband) or use another payment service with competitive fees from 0.7% to 4.5%.
As for the commission that the cryptocurrency exchange charges for the transaction: on WhiteBIT, you can buy bitcoin for euros, dollars, rubles, hryvnias with a minimum commitment from the platform of 0.1%.
The second way provided by the WhiteBIT bitcoin exchange is direct purchase through a payment system. It can be done by going to the tab “Balances” – “Spot” – “Buy cryptocurrency for Fiat”.
Unendurable bribes in Russia-Ukraine War
There is other news which a new twist is that Russian soldiers will be offered an amount in bitcoin if they surrender themselves. So two stories are going around, but it is unclear whether they are different stories.
Masha Efrosinina, a television celebrity and honorary ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine called on Russian soldiers via Instagram to surrender in exchange for 5 million Russian rubles, in cash or cryptocurrencies. Russian soldiers who surrender will not be prosecuted, according to reports. According to Efrosinina, the money comes from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence and ‘the international IT community.
Hackers group Anonymous would have made a similar offer. Anonymous said it carried out hundreds of successful cyber-attacks against Russia and offered Russian soldiers 5 million rubles in bitcoin to surrender their tanks to Ukraine. This initiative is also said to be supported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, and Russian soldiers will also receive an amnesty.
Given the similarities, it may be the same story reported differently. However, it shows a great use case for bitcoin: censorable bribes with a degree of privacy.
