The Jaguars are well positioned to upgrade their team in the 2021 NFL Draft. They are equipped with 10 picks in total, including four selections, which will make it to the top 45, so they will be able to add some serious impact players to their roster.
Jacksonville is the No. 1 owner in this year’s draft, and it is basically set in stone that they will take Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence with that selection. Beyond that, it is nobody’s guess what the team will do, as the team needs a considerable upgrade to regain the form they performed when they went back to the Super Bowl in 2018.

Jaguars need NFL draft
- Quarterback: Gardner Minshaw has promised something, but the Jaguars will almost certainly take on Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick.
- tight end: Jaguar will need to surround Lawrence with weapons. They have a good receiving duct but require a top tight end to round it out.
- Offensive line: Cam Robinson is playing on the franchise tender in the left tackle. The Jags need someone to compete with and possibly replace him.
- Defensive line: Jacksonville averaged 1.1 sacks per game last year, tied for the shortest time in the NFL. He needs better pass rushers on the sidelines and defensive tackles.
- Security: The Jaguars met corner needs by signing Shakeel Griffin. Now, he needs to add a safety to pair up with Rezshen Jenkins to upgrade his defending back end.
