Larsa Pippen believes she was dropped as Kim Kardashian’s bestie because she “knew too much” about the Skims founder’s crumbling marriage to Kanye West.
“I was best friends with Kim, and I love her and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle,” Pippen, 47, shared in a confessional in Thursday’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Miami.”
“I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship,” she continued. “I knew too much, I was a problem, and so, whatever. That’s kind of what happened.”
Pippen opened up about her fallout with Kardashian, 41, after her castmates Kiki Barth and Adriana de Moura peppered her with questions about her relationship with West, 44.
“Larsa and the Kardashians is a mystery to me, still. I know she was friends with Kim for a long time and they had a downfall,” de Moura, 56, said in a confessional. “I think it’s because sometimes Larsa can be a little judgmental or it was because of the situation with Tristan [Thompson] and [his ex] Khloé [Kardashian] and Larsa in the middle.
“I don’t know. I have so many questions, and I’m in search for the answers,” she added. “Because, like, what is going on here?”
But when Pippen’s co-stars pressed the subject while insinuating that there was more to the story than what she was letting on, the ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen shut down the conversation.
“I’m not bringing up your friends or your old friends, so maybe you shouldn’t bring up my friends,” she said after de Moura claimed to have seen West’s penis.
“It’s not a joke that you talk about someone’s husband. It’s not funny,” Larsa continued. “It’s not in good taste.”
Larsa and Kim had been besties until their friendship hit the rocks in the summer of 2020. An insider told Page Six at the time, “[Larsa and Kim] are friends, but not close friends.”
Larsa further stirred the pot when she seemingly shaded Kim on “RHOM” by vaguely talking about “old friends,” though she later denied she was trying to make a statement on their failed friendship.
Whatever the cause of their feud, Larsa claimed to have made amends with Kim since their falling out, saying they have apologized to each other.
Kim filed for divorce from West in February 2021, and while they initially seemed to be on good terms as they co-parented their four children, things have since turned nasty as West continues to drag his estranged wife publicly.
The “Off the Grid” rapper is currently dating Julia Fox, while the “Kardashians” star is in a relationship with Pete Davidson.
