Lily James has gone from Baywatch bombshell to red carpet knockout.
The “Pam and Tommy” star stepped out on the Oscars 2022 red carpet for the first time ever tonight, wearing a head-turning pink lace Atelier Versace dress.
The elegant yet sexy gown from the fall/winter 2021 couture collection featured a form-fitting, cleavage-baring silhouette accented with a thigh-high slit and dramatic train.
James, 32, who will be presenting at tonight’s Academy Awards ceremony, told E! host Laverne Cox of the dress: “I’m in love with it, I can’t believe I get to wear it. I feel incredible.”
Adding very Pamela-esque pink platform heels to her look, James accessorized with a dramatic diamond necklace and sparkly stud earrings.
After Cox asked how the experience of playing Pamela Anderson was, James said she wasn’t in a hurry to play any more famous figures.
“No, no more icons,” she said, adding it was “an incredible experience” but “I’m done. That was enough.”
This isn’t the first time James has worn Versace recently; she sported a black latex minidress from the brand to the “Pam and Tommy” finale afterparty and wore a sexy cut-out Atelier Versace dress to the show’s premiere.
When asked what she was up to next, James said she’s “got some cool stuff coming up that I’m about to start shooting,” but the star couldn’t stop smiling just thinking about the present moment.

“I can’t believe I’m here, this is so wild,” she said. “It’s my first Oscars and I’m just looking around like … the glamour of it all, it’s crazy.”
While this might be the first time James has come to the Oscars — and has yet to score a nomination — she’ll certainly be topping the best dressed looks after tonight.
