Jason Momoa admitted that navigating his breakup from wife Lisa Bonet has been “hard” as a public figure.

The “Aquaman” actor shared on Instagram that he was grateful his family’s privacy was taken into consideration while attending the “Batman” premiere Tuesday with the two children he shares with the “Cosby Show” alum.

“mahalo to the fans and press for being generous and giving us space for the children,” he wrote Thursday, adding, “it’s hard enough separating in the public eye. we appreciate the continued privacy through these times.”

Momoa, 42, took his 14-year-old daughter, Lola, and 13-year-old son, Nakoa-Wolf, to support their half-sister, Zoë Kravitz, at the Robert Pattinson-starring film’s New York City premiere.

Kravitz, who plays Catwoman in the Matt Reeves-directed film, is the 33-year-old daughter of Bonet, 54, and her first husband, rock star Lenny Kravitz.

“so excited for everyone to see @[email protected],” Momoa wrote in Thursday’s post. “your [sic] perfect as cat woman i’m so proud of you. so excited for @snl next week your going to kill it. we had a wonderful time in NYC.”

While attending the premiere, Momoa opened up about still being “a family” despite his separation from Bonet.

“Lisa couldn’t be here so we’re representing, me and the babies,” he told “Entertainment Tonight” on the red carpet, adding, “We’re very excited to just be here. … It’s still family, you know?”

Momoa has continued to be a supportive figure toward Zoë and was even seen hanging out with her boyfriend, Channing Tatum, before the premiere.

Momoa announced in January that he and Bonet were separating after 17 years together and four years of marriage.

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times. A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post at the time.

The “Dune” star added, “Feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so we share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy, but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”

Since then, however, rumors have been circulating that there is a chance for reconciliation between the estranged couple, who have not filed for divorce.

“They decided to work on things rather than throw in the towel because they have so much invested in each other,” an insider claimed to Hollywood Life last month.
