Luann de Lesseps wished Tom D’Agostino ‘the best’ pre-engagement

The Countess is all, like, cool with it.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six last month, Luann de Lesseps said that she had nothing but well wishes for her ex-husband, Tom D’Agostino, who got engaged to Danielle Rollins on Friday.

“I’m not somebody who dwells in the past. I’m not a big reminiscer and sometimes I would like to be, but I’m just not that person. That whole story’s behind me,” said the “Real Housewives of New York City” star, 56, who finalized her divorce from the Manhattan playboy in 2017.

“I’ve moved on and I only wish Tom the best.”

De Lesseps did admit, however, that she sometimes thinks about what life would have been like had her marriage to D’Agostino prevailed.

“There’s still a part of me that wishes it worked out. I’d still have my penthouse, I’d still have a place in Palm Beach [Fla.]. And maybe I could have avoided a lot of problems,” she elaborated.

“But things happen in life and I look at them as learning experiences.”

The “F-Bombs on the G” singer believes her split from D’Agostino was the catalyst for her enduring career as a cabaret performer. (De Lesseps just wrapped an East Coast Christmas tour and has plans to hit the road again with a revamped show in 2022.)

“I don’t know if my cabaret would have been such a big success if I didn’t go through all that drama in my life,” she noted. “People are so supportive of me that they wanted to come and see me rise like a phoenix.”

The Bravolebrity added, “What I did was I took lemons and I made lemonade and a cabaret career. And that was so unexpected. You just have to pick yourself up by your bootstraps and keep it moving. That’s what I try to do with my life.”

Looking forward to the future, de Lesseps — who most recently dated Garth Wakeford, whom she broke up with in late 2020 — described the type of man she’d eventually like to settle down with.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” star recently wrapped a Christmas-themed cabaret tour.

“I really want somebody who completes the situation for me and completes the package for me. I have a great life, I have beautiful children, I have beautiful homes, I have a career. I’m busy,” she told Page Six.

“I’m looking for somebody who’s likeminded, who I can travel with, who has my back, who I can trust, who’s handsome. And somebody who adds to my life and doesn’t take away from my life.”

Before tying the knot with D’Agostino on New Year’s Eve in 2016 in Palm Beach, de Lesseps was married to Count Alexandre de Lesseps. The two share daughter Victoria, 27, and son Noel, 24.

Though both relationships — and several others of Luann’s — have played out on “RHONY,” the reality TV veteran insisted that a willingness to appear on camera is not a prerequisite for a partner.

But if he is down to film, she’ll think twice before introducing her next boyfriend to viewers.

“It just really depends on the person, I think. That’s a bridge I’ll cross when I get to it. It’s like bringing somebody home to meet my kids,” she explained.

“Unless I’m confident and I know that this person is around to stay and I know that I can trust him and I know that I want to bring him around my kids, that’s how I feel about bringing him around the show.”
