Man, 25, shot during controversy in Bronx

A 25-year-old man was shot in the thigh during a brawl in the Bronx, otherwise relatively quiet throughout the night, police said Saturday.

Police said the victim was stabbed once in the right thigh during an argument at the corner of East 138th Street and Carn Anne Avenue just after 10:30 a.m. Friday night.

The police did not say what the argument was. The gunman ran away. Police said the victim was taken by private means to Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.
