“We are seeking a guilty verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd, where deliberations will begin next week,” he said.
“And if we don’t, we can’t get away,” she said. “We’ve got to get more confrontation.”
Asked about the curfew, he said, “I don’t know what the curfew means” According to another tweet clip.
“Curfew means ‘I want me to stop talking,'” he said, adding, “I don’t agree with that.”
Waters said she would not personally hold out for much longer in the protest – but urged everyone to keep it up.
“I came here for a reason, just to be here, to make sure that I have heard my thoughts among all those who have spent so much time on the streets. And so I hope that the protest will continue.

A day earlier, around 100 people were arrested when the mob tried to tear down a fence around the police station.
Journalists said they were beaten and sprayed with pepper, among those detained by police who photographed press credentials before allowing any journalists to leave.

Wright was badly shot during a traffic stop on April 11 by former Brooklyn Center officer Kim Potter, who claims he intended to use a sting gun. Potter resigned and was charged with manslaughter.
Wright was killed just a few days ago when Chicago authorities released a video of the police shooting of 13-year-old Adam Toledo on March 29, as well as sparking demonstrations and protests in the city.
By Saturday night, the protests had spread to the streets of Washington, DC, where a crowd of about 150 people traveled on the streets, chanting the names of those killed at the hands of police, according to journalist Chak Modi, who took to Twitter Posted the video on.

In Portland, which has been involved in furious protests for several months, people spent the early part of Saturday when protesters opened fire at least once a night.
The police had announced the protest, which included glass, graffiti and fire, a riot. The protesters destroyed a park and damaged a church that serves the homeless, Oregonians reported.
“All the destruction is very happy,” a man told the paper while covering a broken window in a restaurant. “We withdrew the boards in November. But I think it was too soon. “
David Dixon, a resident of the area, said he understood the anger of the protesters, but told the Oregonian, “We have to find a better way.”
