Trubisky worked with the Beers in 2018, a Pro Bowl season in which he went 11–3 in 14–3 and led them to the playoffs. Last fall, after losing his fifth-year option, he lost his starting job to Nick Foles from Week 4. He won it back later in the season and helped bring the Beers back to the playoffs, albeit with a record of 8-8.
