Nevada Democratic Party employees abandon leftist leadership

According to a report, entire employees of the Nevada Democratic Party quit on Saturday after the Democratic Socialist candidates won every seat in the leadership of the party.

The party’s executive director, Alana Muss, sent an email to the newly-elected party president, Judith Whitmer, that she and other employees were resigning, Intercept reported.

“We weren’t really surprised, in that we were ready for it,” Whitmer told the outlet.

“But what surprised us, was very surprising. For a slate who claimed they were all about unity, and continued this false narrative of division throughout the campaign – in fact They kept intensifying that – that’s what is surprising about it, there was a desire to just walk away rather than work with us, “he continued.

A former Nevada Democratic Party employee, who requested anonymity, told The Intercept that he quit because he felt Whitmer would demolish the party.

“I knew I couldn’t work with him and destroy years of hard work to see him, so many operatives put our state party into the best state party in the country,” the ex-employee he said.
