NJ man arrested for stabbing NJ woman to death

Kops said a New Jersey man was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a Staten Island woman and left her husband in critical condition.

Police said Prince Nesbitt-Hall, an 18-year-old was driving a stolen Honda 2020 when he broke into the victims’ Mercedes Benz at Lamberts Lane and Albert Street at around 6:20 pm on Tuesday night.

The 70-year-old driver and his 68-year-old wife were both taken to Richmond University Medical Center.

Police said the woman was identified as Kausar Akhund, who was declared dead and her husband was listed with critical head trauma.

Police said Nesbitt-Hall faces laundry charges, including manslaughter, assault, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to stop at a stop sign and violation of speed, police said.

Police say Nesbitt-Hall of Rahway, New Jersey stole the Honda at Hackensack. He was criminally charged with stolen property for that crime, police said.
