NYC officer arrested in NYC Amazon warehouse

A law enforcement source told The Post that the director of the National Action Network and a second demonstrator were issued a ticket during a demonstration at the newly opened Amazon warehouse in East New York, Brooklyn.

The incident took place between 5 pm and 6 pm at the new distribution center of Tech Vishal on Lyndon Boulevard.

According to the source, Keynes and Joe, a second male guard, were given summonses for trespassing and disorderly conduct for Kevin Mackall and who are each other male guards.

McCall could not immediately be reached for comment.

Another protest was held on the very first day outside the Amazon’s Veale Avenue warehouse without incident, the source said.

The nature of the protest is unclear, but the company has been the subject of protests over the state of the epidemic repeatedly on Standen Island.

Amazon filed a lawsuit last week against New York Attorney General Letitia James, preventing possible legal action over its COVID-19 security protocol and the firing of an employee who staged a walkout last spring.
