NYC subway station robbed woman for robbery attempt

This week a robber pushed, kicked and dragged a 60-year-old woman into a new video show while trying to steal her purse at a Brooklyn metro station.

Police said the victim was using a MetroCard machine at the Mezzanine level of 86th Street N train station in Gravesend around 6:30 pm Sunday, when a woman approached him from behind.

Footage released late Tuesday shows the victim throwing to the ground, punching and kicking him and dragging the suspect to the floor as other stretchers pass through the turnstile.

The victim struggled with her attacker and managed to keep her grip on her purse, police said.

He was taken to Maimonides Medical Center for facial, body pain, swelling and injury.
