An off-duty NYPD cop was busted for drunk driving in Brooklyn over the weekend, authorities said.
Officer Tomas Garcia, 31, was sleeping at the wheel of his personal car just after 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Eighth Avenue and 61st Street when EMS workers approached him, police said.
He showed signs of intoxication and was busted on scene.
Garcia was charged with driving while intoxicated, cops said.
