Set free by the Browns, Odell Beckham Jr. is now on the hunt for a new NFL home. Soon to be two teams removed from his days as a Giant, his conundrum remains all too familiar: tantalizing talent, complicated player.
The Giants and Browns found out first-hand, then moved on. Another team is about to attempt to walk the line of bringing out the best in Beckham while trying to do what’s best for the team in the heart of a playoff chase. But what’s best for Beckham and what’s best for the team he’s playing for have often seemingly been two different things.
Soon, Beckham will get another chance to figure out what matters most to him. If he truly favors wins over targets, perhaps the third time will be the charm.
