David Peterson, who is competing for fifth place in the rotation, was in the pitcher to throw a side season.
caught my eye
Tony DeFranseco, who served as the team’s first base coach last season, has been in camp in his new capacity to work in scouting and player development. DeFrancesco previously served as the organization’s Triple-A manager.
