Pokémon Go Zapdos Raid Guide: Best Counter and Movement

Zappados, one of the electro-type mythological Pokemon, is one of Pokémon GoFive-star raid rotating targets.

The electric-type bird Pokémon appears every now and then in raids and is definitely worth collecting.

To take on Zapdos, we recommend using ice or rock-type Pokemon. Consider bringing any of the following counters:

• Rampardos with smack down and rock slide
• Rhyperior with Smack Down and Rock Wrecker
• Tyranniter with Smack Down and Stone Age
• Mammoswin with powdered snowflake and avalanche

If you have Mega Evolved Abomsno, you should definitely bring them. Ice-types like Weeville and Gleason would also be useful, but because their defensive stats are so low, they will not last long against the Zapedos.

If you are lucky, you can find it shiny. Remember that if you get a shiny Pokemon in a raid, you will catch it with a guarantee, so use a pinup berry on it instead of a raz berry.

Zappados is a very good electric-type attacker. Excels most with it Electric Shock And Thunderbolt, But Thunder Shock is unfortunately a legacy move. If you don’t have it, run charge beam With Vajra instead.
