Adam Fox will be a Blueshirt for the foreseeable future.

The Rangers locked up the reigning Norris Trophy winner with a seven-year extension, the team announced Monday.

Fox’s average annual salary will be $9.5 million, according to The Post’s Larry Brooks. It’s the largest deal given to a defenseman leaving his entry-level deal, per reports.

“Hey Rangers fans,” Fox said in a video tweeted out by the Rangers. “Can’t wait for seven more years with you guys. No place I’d rather be. This is my home and I can’t wait to spend it with you guys.”

It has been a privilege for us, and our fans, to watch Adam showcase his ability on a nightly basis, and we are glad to have that opportunity for seven more years.”

In 134 NHL games, all with the Rangers, the Jericho, New York native has posted 15 goals and 98 points, including two tallies and nine points in nine games in 2021-22.
