Hot Toys revealed a new collectible statue for Spider-Man: No Way Home featuring the mysterious Doctor Strange box.
With Spider-Man: No Way Home set to hit theaters within the next few weeks, fans are excited to see where this Multiversal journey for Peter Parker will take him. With the involvement of Doctor Strange, the webhead will have to deal with his biggest threat thus far, which features the return of previous villains from both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man films.
Hot Toys revealed this incredibly-detailed new statue for Spider-Man: No Way Home. This 1/6th scale collectible figure, known as the “Battling Version” of the Spider-Man suit includes some notable pieces such as an unmasked Peter Parker head and perhaps most exciting, the mysterious Doctor Strange box that is prominently featured in the most recent trailer for the film. With Doctor Strange serving as the primary mentor figure for Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, we are clearly getting a glimpse as to what kind of chaos that the Multiverse will bring to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. No doubt this will be the biggest threat that Tom Holland’s Spidey has ever faced.
Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:
“For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.”
Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield heavily rumored to appear.
