Teams Leaving Texas Business Voices

Perhaps teams can try to slip into Texas’ DMs.

According to an NFL Network report, the Texas front office is so dug out that they are not taking phone calls from teams wanting to acquire Country Watson.

Tom Pelissaro told Some teams have also resorted to “dropping voicemail with business offers.”

Watson has officially requested a trade and said behind the scenes that he will not take another picture again for Texas.

Houston’s latest attempt to convince him was a meeting with new coach David Coolie, but Watson’s stance remains unchanged.

Watson signed a four-year, $ 156 million extension last season, but the Texans did not advise him on major decisions, such as the appointment of Nick Casario as GM.

It can drag on for some time, though.

A separate nfl network report It has been said that Texas does not see any deadline to deal with Watson at the start of the independent agency (March 17) or the 2021 NFL Draft (April 29).

And the report states that teams that are interested in Watson – the Jets, Dolphins and Panthers, have been most prominently mentioned in the rumor mill – “don’t expect” Watson to be traded. This may cause some of their phone calls to go unanswered.
