
A former investigator on Long Island, a district attorney, has quashed a lawsuit in Vermont on charges of molesting a 12-year-old girl for more than 30 years – claiming she is mentally ill.
Leonard Forte, 79, a former investigator with the Suffolk County County Attorney’s Office, is accused of molesting the youngster on several occasions in February 1987, and was convicted the following year by a jury, Bennington Banner reported.
