This is Tiger’s first tournament back from a devastating single car wreck that he was in this past February. He nearly lost his leg, and at the time it seemed unlikely he would be back on the course this soon.

On one hole Friday, Charlie came within an inch of sinking a chip for an eagle.

For his own part, Tiger also looks locked in.

The PGA Tour shared a side-by-side video of father and son driving off the tee, and the resemblance continues to be uncanny.

Earlier this week, Tiger got emotional when he was shown a previous viral video showcasing the remarkable similarities between himself and son with regards to their mechanics and mannerisms on the golf course.

“Two things that stick out,” he said. “The timing of the twirls and the pickup of the tee.”

“Just the nose thing that we have,” Tiger observed, as the video showed them both wiping their nose. “We both have allergies, so we both struggle on the golf course. We get like wind blown or we’re both sniffing. Just that little thing that we both have.”

“Oh, that’s awesome,” he says at the end of the video.
