
Tiger Woods was involved in a single-car accident in California just after 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday. The car reportedly rolled several times, causing the golf legend to suffer a fractured ankle and two leg fractures, one of which was a compound.
LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said Woods was “lucky to be alive” after the crash.
According to Daniel Rapaport, a reporter for Tiger Woods of Golf Digest, the golf star was in Los Angeles for a two-day shoot with Golf Digest and GOLFTV, where he was giving lessons to celebrities and actors.

Despite some speculation, he was not playing holes nor hitting balls, but instead giving on-course lessons to celebrities. Tiger was in good spirits on Monday. Did not arrive on Tuesday.

Shelley Smith of ESPN reported that Woods went to meet St. quarterback Drew Trees and Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert; The report indicated that he was running late for the meeting, which was supposed to be on the same golf course where he instructed other celebrities and athletes on Monday.
Actor and comedian David Spade tweeted a picture Monday of himself and Woods sitting in a golf cart, stating that it was he who gave the 15-time major champion a golf lesson.
NBA star Dwayne Wade published two posts on Instagram showing him on the golf course with Woods on Monday – before Woods’ accident was reported on Tuesday.

“How good am I or how bad am I?” Wade asks.
“Ah good?” Says that Woods did not shake his head and laugh. Wade said: “I’m not good.” They both agree that she is getting better, yet.
