“With all the ways our community has redefined expression in under 60 seconds, we’re excited to see how people continue to entertain and inspire with a few more seconds — and a world of creative possibilities.”

On Wednesday, the video-sharing giant announced that it had removed 65 million videos — which equates to less than one percent of its total — in the first three months of 2021 due to rule violations such as nudity and bullying.

The platform, which immensely popular among younger generations and teenagers, has published transparency reports since 2019.
