Tom Hiddleston Opens Up About Loki’s Fluid Sexuality

Tom Hiddleston recently talked about Loki’s sexuality after being revealed to be fluid in the Disney Plus series.

In the pages of Marvel Comics, it’s well-known that Loki is fluid in sexuality. That has now made its way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Tom Hiddleston’s new series on Disney Plus. That aspect of the character hasn’t come up in the Loki series beyond a case file, but it may be explored in future episodes.

While talking to MTV News, Tom Hiddleston opened up to Josh Horowitz about Loki officially being fluid in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and how he’s approached it as an actor since the first Thor film:

“Absolutely, yes. It has been in the story of the character for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Loki is a trickster. Boundaries and identity has always been fluid and I’ve really enjoyed that. I remember even when I was first cast reading about that stuff and I’m really pleased that we have a place to explore it.”
