Trevor Lawrence hasn’t experienced much NFL success during his rookie season, but amid the ups and downs, wife Marissa remains a constant source of support.

On Sunday, Marissa showed off her Lawrence-inspired swag in Jacksonville, where the Jaguars lost to the 49ers, 30-10, and dropped to 2-8 on the season.

“ILYSM one six,” Marissa posted on Instagram.

Lawrence, the first overall pick in this year’s draft, complete 16 of 25 passes for 158 yards with zero touchdowns and no interceptions. After the game, Lawrence said he’s going to keep pushing, but noted there’s plenty of work to do all around.

“We all just have to take ownership and be better. Until we do that, it’s going to be the same thing,” Lawrence said, per ESPN. “Got to keep going, keep going back to work, and it’ll come, but it’s definitely disappointing.”

Although this Sunday’s game against the Falcons (4-6) is the current focus, it seems the bigger picture overall remains Lawrence’s development. In fact, that has become the topic of debate within the Jaguars organization, according to a report Sunday from CBS Sports. There has been chatter amongst the staff on how much to rely on the run-pass option system Lawrence utilized at Clemson, per the report, with some calling out the potential risk for injury.

Additionally, there is said to have been “tension and turmoil” within the Jaguars’ staff since the offseason, according to the report. Sources also told CBS Sports that changes are likely coming for 2022, as rookie head coach Urban Meyer has made his unhappiness with certain position coaches known.

For now, Meyer is locked in on Atlanta, stating Sunday, “[we have to] go back to work and try to beat the Falcons next week.”
