A Mexican television host who famously proposed to Tom Brady in a wedding dress is reportedly on the run for allegedly embezzling billions of pesos.

Inés Gómez Mont and her husband, Víctor Manuel Álvarez Puga, a lawyer, are accused of embezzling nearly 3 billion pesos ($146 million USD) from the Ministry of the Interior in 2016 and ’17, according to Uno TV via People.

TVNotas reported the couple fled Mexico a week after a federal judge issued a warrant for their arrest on Sept. 10. According to Vice, the two are believed to be in the United States. Gómez Mont wrote on Instagram that her and her husband “have not had access to that warrant, nor the proof that justifies it,” adding that they “are preparing to face this process and exercise all our rights.

Gómez Mont and Álvarez Puga reportedly could face between 20 and 60 years in prison if convicted.

Gómez Mont made headlines in 2008, when she showed up to Patriots-Giants Super Bowl press conference to propose to then-Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

She wore a wedding dress and told the current Buccaneers quarterback she loved him. Brady politely turned her down and said, “I’m a one woman man” — referring to his relationship with then girlfriend Gisele Bundchen. Brady and Bunchen became engaged in January 2009, and tied the knot the very next month.

Meanwhile, when Brady turned down Gómez Mont’s proposal, she move on to Giants quarterback Eli Manning with a “Marry Me Manning” shirt.

Both Uno TV and Animal Pólitico reported the Mexican Attorney General’s Office is requesting that Interpol, the international criminal police organization, issue international location and capture orders against Gómez Mont and Álvarez Puga.
