Vicki Gunvalson is telling all on her run-in with ex-fiancé Steve Lodge.
The former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star, 59, was on a date with a man named Rich Dowdall at Brio in December when the failed gubernatorial hopeful, 63, and his new fiancée, Janis Carlson, walked in — only to promptly walk out.
“He ran like a coward with the bimbo,” Gunvalson exclusively told Page Six.
While Tamra Judge previously claimed that her pal and former co-star “chased” Lodge out of the restaurant, Gunvalson told us she merely followed him out because he allegedly owes her money.
“There was no screaming. There was no chasing him like a mad woman,” the Coto Insurance founder said. “I was more disgusted seeing [Steve].”
She added, “I got off my bar stool and walked calmly outside and did not yell or scream but did say, ‘Steve, we have some unfinished business to take care of.’ He did not answer and quickly got into her car.”
Dowdall, 68, echoed Gunvalson’s claims that Lodge had fled the restaurant upon seeing them on their date.
“He walks in with his new fiancée, and he does an about-face because we’re right at the edge of the bar, right at the last two seats, and he runs out,” Dowdall told us, conceding that Gunvalson did go out “chasing after him.”
Dowdall said he told Gunvalson that she wasn’t “ready to date” when she returned.
“She said, ‘That’s not true,’ and I go, ‘You’re carrying a torch bigger than the Olympic torch,’” he recalled.
Considering Gunvalson and Lodge were betrothed, she didn’t take kindly to hearing Dowdall’s “torch” comment.
“Steve and I were engaged and I loved him very much and was committed to ‘us,’” she told Page Six. “He elected to cheat on me and use me and didn’t have the courage to tell me he was cheating on me. He moved from my bed to hers the same day. Tell me any woman that would be ‘OK’ with that.
“It hurts,” she continued. “The fact that this guy Steve can move on as fast as he did, it’s disgusting.”
As for Dowdall, there won’t be any more dates.
“We met a few times at different venues in OC — always country bars, and I was not interested in pursuing anything with him. He’s a loser,” Gunvalson said of her short-lived flame.
Despite Dowdall trying to rehash old drama, Gunvalson maintained that she’s found happiness with a new man, whose identity she’s leaving as a mystery.
“I dodged a bullet [with Steve] and am finally in a great place dating an incredibly honest man that I will keep private as long as possible,” she shared.
