Mauricio Pochettino is optimistic Kylian Mbappé will be fit enough to face Manchester City in a major Champions League clash on Tuesday.

The MBGP missed a right calf injury on Saturday as PSG kept pace with the Lich 1 title race by beating Lens 2–1.

PSG face a 2–1 defeat at Manchester on Tuesday after losing the semi-final first leg on home soil in midweek.

How was Mbappe injured?

Pochettino said he suffered from “discomfort in his right calf” after the first leg against Man City, although he was not at all clear on the injury.
