From ‘Housewives’ for handcuffs: Meet Jane Shah.

The stone-cold diva of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” was taken into federal custody Tuesday after being deprived of the comforts of her snow-covered Utah sanctuary.

The 43-year-old Shah and his 43-year-old assistant Stuart Smith are accused of cheating hundreds of victims – many of whom are senior citizens of the country – who are working on a nationwide telemarketing scheme.

Bravo Starr and Smith have been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering, according to the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.

He and Smith faced up to 30 years in prison.

Before allegedly finding herself on the wrong side of the law, Shah was a proud Muslim girl who lived in a Mormon world with great affection.

With unbridled tongue and fiery temperament, Shah was often compared to the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice Bravo fans online. Giudice was convicted in 2014 on mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud charges.

Shah was the first Polynesian artist in the franchise to convert from Mormonism to Islam after marrying University of Utah special teams football coach Sharrif Shah.

Her husband’s name has not been taken in connection with her alleged crimes.

Even with Shareef’s plentiful salary, Jane’s non-defining line of work led to a hobby of “housewives” on Twitter questioning how the couple were able to live up to their luxurious lifestyle.

They live in a 9,420-square-foot rental house for about $ 4 million. She flaunts high-end fashion and bejeweled accessories on social media. She employs eight assistants known as the “Shah Squad” who fulfill her every wish. She once participated in the show, “I probably spend $ 50,000 a month.”

But Shah – who owns the businesses JXA Fashion, Shah Lashes and Shah Beauty – Could never define her profession.

She dangerously extended her tenure as an online advertising specialist to host Andy Cohen during “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” aired in February.

But it seems that his lucrative moves in marketing may come at the cost of others.

“Jennifer Shah, who portrays herself as a wealthy and successful businessman on ‘reality’ television, and Stuart Smith … for allegedly scamming other members of her scheme repeatedly for innocent individuals Create and sell ‘lead lists’, “Manhattan US Attorney Audrey Strauss said in a news release.

Shah and Smith were Released from police custody Tuesday according to the Salt Lake Tribune. They were ordered to surrender their passports and agree not to contact each other.
